Data Science & AI Leaders of Tomorrow Expo and Conference
April 24 - 25, 2022
A global intercollegiate collaboration between top CS schools such as Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon, and UC Berkley, where students from these top computer science schools presented their cutting-edge data science & AI work.
The theme was "diverse applications of data science & AI".
A note on the inspiration behind the conference:
The Data Science & AI Leaders of Tomorrow came to fruition due to the dearth of connectivity and resources amid the COVID-19 pandemic. One of my main goals was to foster collaboration rather than competition—from the purpose of the conference to its very planning and design. I created the conference not only to create a platform for students to share their work when it wasn’t possible to do so physically but also to create opportunities for students who were distanced from their campuses and/or other professional and educational opportunities.
The conference needed to be led by students for the benefit of students.
