As an avid reader, I want to share some of my favorite reads. Also, feel free to reach out with any suggestions!

  1. Currently reading: The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham & Hedge Fund Secrets: An Introduction to Quantitative Portfolio Management by Philip J. Romero and Tucker Balch

  2. The Creator Revolution: How Today’s Creative Talents Are Shaping Our Tomorrow by Catherine Yeo

This was my first book of 2023!
We are living amidst the digital age where the way we consume information is constantly evolving. The digital age brings a new line of work: content creation.
This book serves as a compelling guide to understanding and navigating the content creation industry. Catherine Yeo does a wonderful job of condensing a considerable amount of research, including first-hand interviews, scientific studies, and real use cases, to illustrate and support her points. This book is a must-read for anyone looking to understand this space.

  3. Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell

This book was my first exposure to the work of Malcolm Gladwell and I was immediately hooked and ended up reading all of his works. This book analyzes outliers, people of great success, and the factors that contributed to that success. What I especially love about Malcolm Gladwell’s writing style is how he integrates a series of diverse anecdotes and examples to expand on his point. For example in Outliers, Gladwell touches on topics ranging from Bill Gates to the Beetles to J. Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb.

  4. Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson

Steve Jobs is one of my greatest personal heroes and this book really provided an in-depth life story.

  5. Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg

One of my favorite books where Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, talks about her struggles as a Woman in a C-Suite position but also urges women (and men) to challenge the norm and support workplace equality for women.

  6. The Code of the Woosters by P. G. Wodehouse

A recommendation from my dad, PG Wodehouse is a wonderful, humorous author with a great command of the English language.

  7. "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feyman!" by Richard P. Feynman

Don’t want to spoil too much, but a great autobiography by Richard P. Feynmman, a Nobel Prize winner in physics for his work on quantum electrodynamics and creator of the atomic bomb.

  8. Eleven Rings by Phil Jackson

  9. How Starbucks Saved My Life by Michael Gates Gill

  10. Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell

  11. Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain

  12. The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell

  13. Blink by Malcolm Gladwell
